CERTIFICATIONS:

GOTS - Global Organic Textile Standard

Is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibers, including ecological and social criteria, backed up by independent certification of the entire textile supply chain. GOTS certified final products may include fiber products, yarns, fabrics, clothes, home textiles, mattresses, personal hygiene products, as well as food contact textiles and more.

Textile processors and manufacturers can export their fabrics and garments with one organic certification that is accepted in all major markets. This transparency also gives consumers the power to choose truly organic products sourced from green supply chains.

Lenzing Group

Lenzing fibers are made of cellulose, a natural component of Lenzing´s Group renewable source material wood. A characteristic of cellulose is its biodegradability: At the end of their life cycle, these fibers can re-enter the eco-system, preparing the ground on which new plants grow.

All valuable components offered by sustainable and natural raw material wood are used. If possible, Lenzing Group processes their raw materials in closed loop production cycles. Their fibers are biodegradable at the end of their life cycle. Nature returns to nature.

OUR FABRICS AND MATERIALS:

ORGANIC COTTON

This cotton is grown organically in subtropical countries such as India, Turkey, China and parts of the USA from non-genetically modified plants, and without the use of any synthetic agricultural chemicals, such as fertilizers or pesticides, aside from the ones allowed by the Certified Organic labeling.

Its production is supposed to promote and enhance biodiversity and biological cycles.

RECYCLED COTTON

Recycled cotton refers to a type of cotton that is derived from pre-consumer or post-consumer textile waste, such as discarded garments, industrial scraps, or fabric cuttings. Instead of being thrown away or sent to landfills, these cotton materials are collected, sorted, and processed to create new textile products.

It aims to reduce waste and promote sustainability in the fashion and textile industries, it is an eco-friendly alternative to conventional cotton helping to minimize its environmental footprint.

CUPRO

Our cupro fiber is sourced from a factory in Japan, ensuring a responsible and eco-friendly production process. Made from cotton seed linter waste, this vegan silk alternative transforms materials that would otherwise be discarded, into a luxurious fabric.

The factory where our fabric is made, is committed to sustainability and has achieved OEKO-Tex certification, which verifies that our cupro is produced without harmful substances. It operates under ISO 14001 standards, utilizing a closed-loop system that recycles materials and reduces waste.

Not only is our cupro biodegradable, but it also has a low emission profile when burned, it is as well hypoallergenic and breathable. We are proud to offer a product that aligns with our values of quality and sustainability, ensuring that you can enjoy elegant, high-quality pieces with a clear conscience.

TENCEL

TENCEL™ is the flagship Textile brand of Lenzing. Such fibers are soft to the skin, smooth to the touch and offer great drape and flow.

Tencel needs fewer energy and less water than cotton and with the closed loop system production process, the solvent is recycled time after time. Tencel is also biodegradable, as a naturally derived fiber.

Lenzing Group sources its wood and pulp from licensed and controlled sources, such as land that is sustainably managed.

LEATHER

Our leather manufacturers use practices that aim to reduce the amount of energy, water and chemicals used during production, as well as reducing the amount of solid waste, water waste, and air emissions.

All our leather is naturally dyed.

The durability and lifespan of this material make our products stand the test of time, committed to the slow movement.
